Just finished and posted a vid I'd been working on since October, and am now focusing all my efforts on Festivids. I'm still debating on whether or not to make an Escapade premiere, since I think my idea is going to be hard to execute.

FitzPro, I'd love to see a Terra Nova vid - I want to be convinced to watch the show!

I am sure that many different vids could be good for Escapade.

Here I was doing a rewatch of Fringe and making tidy little lists of clips I can use for the half a dozen vid ideas I already have for that show, and then I'm innocently listening to something on Grooveshark and a bunny for an entirely different source runs me over. Now I just need to figure out which cover of the song I want to use (it's an old jazz standard; there are 381 version on iTunes alone, not that I plan to go through all of them, but there are at least three decent possibilities I know of already) and rewatch the source. Thankfully that's only 13 movies, most of which should be acquirable through the public library. Or maybe I'll be lazy and just use a six-movie series within the group. (Heh, I don't know why I'm being so secretive up there. The source is the various movies Myrna Loy and William Powell made together in the 30s and 40s, or possibly just the Thin Man movies if I find they work well enough on their own. The song is "Two Sleepy People." I'm leaning toward the recent version Seth MacFarlane put out with Norah Jones, which has a nice delivery from both of them and some lovely woodwinds at the beginning and end, but given that it's Seth MacFarlane, it...kinda sounds like Brian from Family Guy singing it, which is maybe not the association I really want. My other front-running choice is a duet between Hoagy Carmichael and Ella Logan, but it was obviously recorded not long after Carmichael wrote it in 1938, so the sound quality's not great. Might be atmospheric, but the hiss and crackle is kind of annoying.)

As I've finished my Festivids gift video at almost the last minute, I have some time to make a treat. Maybe. I have ideas at least. ;D

I seem to have gotten a freakish burst of ZOMG PRODUCTIVITY and now have almost a first draft of Vid #2. Huh.

Oh man, I was gonna take a vid break in January and go work on some long overdue fic, but I've suddenly fallen head over heels for Suits and just dying to make a Harvey/Mike vid. None of the songs I tried sounds right though. I initially thought it would be easy finding a brash "we are awesome" song, but after watching some more episodes and reading fic, suddenly I want the vid/ship to have dimensions. What the.

obsessive24—this is exciting news! I've wanted to see an awesome Suits vid since watching the pilot, and I haven't yet. (Not to say they aren't out there!) Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Killa - this pairing killz me. They are too cute/awesome for words. I was trying out potential vidsongs on the way to work and I think there's the possibility that this will turn out to be a Club Vivid vid. Which would be cool, but then it won't be posted until August. Then again, I'd prefer to wait for DVD rips anyway...

I would love to see some Suits vids! I want to watch all the Mike/Harvey vids in the world, but I'm personally more tempted to make a Donna appreciation vid.

Hurray!
I am actually working on the mad Men vid I promised Ian for last year's Club vivid. I've clipped through the first 9 eps and have even laid clips on a timeline.
And it's only almost a year late.
(And I, too would love to see a suits vid. I am hoping we will get some next weekend with festivids.)

Mad Men CVV vid! \o/ Ensemble or specific characters?
Oh, is Suits a Festivid fandom? I'm not sure that makes me more or less motivated to want to make a Suits vid now. ;D

It's a Peggy vid. It seems to be coming together pretty well. I keep finding more stuff that I want to jam in at the end for emphasis but, there is only room for so much stuff at the end.
And I am only on ep 10 right now.
Suits was listed as a fandom for Festivids but, that doesn't necessarily mean anyone vidded it. I guess we will know soon enough. Go live is in just a few days.
