Hmm. Given just how much I was in love with season 4 of Merlin, I've been really...not interested in it much recently. I skipped the Lancelot episode because frankly, Arthur and Gwen and their so-called relationship doesn't really interest me, and I couldn't be bothered to watch the two episodes after that either. I just fast forwarded myself through 4.12 because... *shrug* Ah, man. I actually really like this show

I'm watching Star Trek: The Next Generation at the moment (almost finished with season one - I just watched Skin of Evil, and cried a lot), and am really enjoying it. And then, when my boyfriend's not home, I'm catching up on Gossip Girl.
When it comes to new shows, I'm behind on pretty much everything - I watch way too many shows, and am terrible at dropping the ones I don't love - but I'm really loving New Girl and Hart of Dixie. Neither is exactly award-winning, but they're both a lot of fun.

I have three episodes of Merlin sitting on my HD but, I dunno, just haven't felt compelled to watch them. But I am gearing up to make my Epic Vid Idea so that would involve watching them at some point.
I don't watch Hart of Dixie, but my husband likes to have it on the background so I catch snippets now and then. From my very brief glimpses, I feel like she was set up to be shipped with lawyer [Jason from FNL] but instead she seems to have so much more chemistry with the guy who lives like in a trailer next to her house? Or something?
I've lost a lot of interest in Gossip Girl after Jenny and Eric left for good, but it's still entertaining to watch and the clothes are always good to look at. ;D

Homeland! OMG HOMELAND. Marathoned the first 11 episodes in two days (which was a seriously intense experience). Started a vid almost immediately which I am now neck deep in.
Can't go any further with it until the season finale happens tonight and I know how certain things turn out so I can structure the back half of the vid properly. Also, I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS (in all caps).
I'm blown away by the entire cast. Just..really good stuff. Intense and disturbing as hell, but really good.
And I'm vidding! \o/

OMG YES SOMEONE ELSE IS WATCHING IT. Isn't it just mind-blowing? I mean--\0/ I'm so glad you're vidding it! I basically had a vidbunny the moment I started watching but I'm still on the hunt for the right song...

OMG legoline -- Mind blowing is an understatment. I'm just in awe of, well, everything about it. Claire Danes is just killing it...I am so impressed with her right now. And I wasn't actually familiar with Damian Lewis so I did not know how freaking brilliant he is. Brody, holy crap.
Just. Yeah. I lucked into the absolute perfect song for what I want to do thanks to absolutedestiny. It's hard going, though, even aside from needing to have the ending to structure parts of the vid (it will work no matter which direction it ends up). Just...the whole thing is so complicated that I have to make decisions on what to leave out and that SUCKS.

Claire Danes is just killing it...I am so impressed with her right now. Isn't she? I mean, I basically started watching because I adore her anyway but she's just knocking it out of the park in every single episode. And I hear you on Damian Lewis. That scene in the cabin by the lake when Carrie confronts Brody and...there's not a single cut in that scene and that guy just acts his ass off. I loooooove how this show keeps you guessing. Every time you think you've got it figured out it just does a turn. In a good way. Also, I really love how the show doesn't take sides. I loved the bit where Carrie called the FBI dude out on not taking off his shoes in the mosque. And just. SO FRICKIN' AWESOME. Song. I need it now. Can't wait for your vid.

Or something? That's pretty much what happened, yeah. Except now it seems like they've embraced the chemistry and are going to pursue that for a bit, so I'm excited. I'm definitely going to have to check out Homeland, too - I'm a big fan of Damian Lewis (and Claire Danes), so I'll have to get on that.

It's good that they realised this and changed course to play to what seems like an obvious strength. I might even have to start watching properly if they get shippy! They are so cute together. ;D

Jumping in a little late, but I absolutely LOVE Once Upon A Time!! (as if my avatar couldn't give it away) It's the best show I've seen in FOREVER!! I <3 <3 <3 it!!
I'm also watching Terra Nova (which I think is underrated), Grimm, and Pan Am (I have a serious love of period pieces, especially ones set in the 50's and 60's). Ooooh, and I almost forgot The Walking Dead.

I found The Walking Dead to be a bit underwhelming this season, except for the very good final scene of the final episode.
I watched 3 episodes of Once Upon a Time and haven't really gotten into it yet. Does it get better in later episodes, then?
I've been rewatching Smallville over the holiday period. I watched in sort of a weird order - watched s1 and s4 for vidding purposes, then watched s2 and s5 concurrently, then s3, and I'm just about to start on s6. Think I'll only watch until the end of s7 though. I have seen the whole show but definitely lost interest after s7.

I agree TWD has been pretty slow moving. However, I'm hoping that once it returns, they'll leave the farm and get on with it.
As for OUAT, I love it. But I've loved it from the get-go. I'm a huge fairy tale kinda girl. My mom calls it dark disney, but she's just as hooked on it as I am. I think each episode is better than the last.
I used to love Smallville. I had the biggest crush on Michael Rosenbaum. Apparently I have a thing for bad guys. ha ha.

I agree with FitzPro that every episode gets better, but if you're not into it yet after three episodes, it might just not be for you. I think I mentioned that I'd been watching Revenge, but oh my god. It is SO good. The premise didn't draw me in at all, but after a few friends swore by it, I gave it a try. I think I watched all ten episodes in 2-3 days, and I'm dying for the hiatus to be over. All the character interactions fascinating and, like OUAT, each episode is better than the one before it. My only concern is that it's moving so quickly and intensely that I'm afraid it's going to burn out after one season, but we'll see where it goes.
