Reading the forum threads, it is clear for me, that there are vidders here from lots of different parts of the world. About me: I live in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, that is a small country located in Cenral Europe. My mother toungue is Hungarian (of course) and English is my second language. I studied Russian and German in my early years, but I forgot everything unfortunately. Tell us, where do you live! I'm curious.

Great thread!
I was born in China, and my family immigrated to New Zealand when I was 8.
My husband and I came to London early this year and plan to work here for a few years before heading back to the southern hemisphere. New Zealand if there are good job opportunities, otherwise probably Melbourne or Sydney.

I'm from Germany; I live about an hour from Köln (Cologne). German is my mother tongue. I started learning English at the age of 10 and after school went on and studied it at university so...been learning it for 19 years now. Wow. That's longer than it felt Aside from that I also took four years of French and two years of Spanish and Russian each, but I only remember very basic French and very, very little Russian and Spanish.

Born in the USA (and now must pause to have a Bruce Springsteen moment), lived in various states throughout my life and am now living in the mountains of Colorado.

I'm from North Carolina (east coast USA) and have been wandering for the past many years... went to college up in Connecticut, then worked in Japan for a year, then did an arts degree in Glasgow for two years, and am now near LA on the USA's west coast.

Made in the USA of imported material, as my family likes to joke. Grew up in San Francisco, moved to LA last year, then moved behind the Orange Curtain last month. I've actually been thinking of hosting a vid watching thing, maybe when Festivids are released. rokikurama Hello relatively close neighbor!

Great thread, and lovely to see people from all over! I'm German, but I've been living in the UK now for 16 years (fuck me - can't really be that long, can it? ), mainly 'up north'.

rhoboat Hey! That so exciting to have someone nearby! Also, I can't believe I haven't heard the term "Orange Curtain" before... people at my school are always ragging on Orange County, so it would definitely apply.

Grew up around Washington DC and am now in California (SF Bay Area) for grad school. I suspect I'll always be an East Coast girl at heart but I'm having fun out here so far. rokikurama - Where in North Carolina are you from? I went to college in the Triangle.

I'm from the USA, grew up in and around Philadelphia, moved away, am now back forever and ever. Or until I win the lottery.

dragonchic So many connections! I'm from the suburbs of Raleigh, so probably quite close to where you went to college! My brother's at NC State right now.
