I hate introducing myself  I'm Yamashita Hana, 24, living in Wisconsin baby! (cheesehead 4eva!!!!!!!!!). Love JMusic, JDramas, JMovies, pretty much anything Japanese lol (other Asian too but <3 Japan especially). At college so not as much time to vid as I'd like but I try. community.livejournal.com/x_give_and_take_x is the community I run with my friend on LJ, my stuff being mostly fanvids. Personal LJ is x_shock_me_x (comment on FO or I won't friend back), twitter is xItsMyMindx (tweet me you're from here, I'm liable to decline), fb is tomossenorita (message first). I have been vidding off and on for 8 years, my vids change as my fandoms do. I have lost a lot of my older vids and that makes me sad  |

Hello! I'm Joyo. braver_creature on lj and joyo on dw though I seem to be allergic to posting in either at the moment. I'm 27, I'm an American living in the UK. I've only finished two vids, many more are in pieces on timelines spanning the last two (omg maybe 3) years. My ideas are getting more ambitious, and also strangely skewing more towards anime music videos which is...surprising, actually I also enjoy videogames, knitting and other mischief. ...I also have two pet rats which I have forgotten to feed tonight, so if you'll excuse me. ::runs to beg forgiveness:: |

Hi Joyo! I used to have rats. At one point I had 11 at once. Fantastic pets, but the New Zealand ones are lab rat descendents and don't live long enough - I found I was perpetually in tears over them, so I gave up getting more for the sake of my sanity. |

Hi! I'm RadiantAerynSun (Ras for short) almost everywhere except LJ where I'm raspberry_splat (also Ras for short) and in real life, Pam. I've been vidding for almost 6 years now. Most of my vids can be found here. I came to vidding while in the Farscape fandom via friend/mentor, Leviathan. I went on to vid some Smallville (briefly as Lexcelsior), Doctor Who, BtVS and currently have a half finished Legend of the Seeker vid still sitting upon a rather 'dusty' timeline!) I use Sony Vegas which I love. I currently use 7, a rather old version, but looking forward to upgrading once I get a new lap top in the not too distant future. I am quite a slow vidder, especially when RL gets in the way which it has the last couple of years, but I yearn to get back in the vidding saddle again (I'm lucky to have nice friends though who poke me gently ). I like the idea of a forum like this, I adored the forum back in my Farscape days and think this set up is especially good for sharing and learning. It feels so welcoming here already. Hey Ras nice to see you here!! LoTS vid eh? You must finish it my dear, I bet it will be superb. |

Hi! I'm icepixie here and everywhere else (LJ, DW, AO3). I've been in fandom since the mid-90s, when I wrote horrible ST: Voyager fanfic under my real name, ohgod, and posted it on Usenet, where it embarrasses me to this day. I started vidding about two years ago, beginning with several vids of various Astaire/Rogers movies and moving on to various TV fandoms. I've made 14 vids so far, all of which can be found on my my vid tag at LJ. At the moment, my fannish life focuses on fic-writing and long screeds speculating on what's going to happen next on Fringe. In my offline life, I'm a 27-year-old unemployed recent graduate of an MA program in English. No comment on the juxtaposition of those last two things.  I'm from and currently live in Nashville, Tennessee. |

Hello! I'm Sarah, and I hate trying to make introductory posts cause I never know what to say. I've been watching vids for... I dunno 5+ years now but I've never actually managed to make one. The technical difficulties and new software to learn always scared me off and I'd go back to playing games. I'm pretty determined to figure it out this time, though. Also, for having been such an avid vid watcher for such a long time, I feel kinda terrible because I almost never comment and let people know how much I love them! Eeek... I keep trying to get better at it but then shyness kicks in and. Ahem. Anyway. I'm currently living in Illinois, just across the river from St Louis. I'd love to study Linguistics, but so far the whole higher learning thing has not exactly gone my way. Um... in addition to being a kinda obsessive media fan I've been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember. (Talk to me about retro games, yo. I still love 'em.) ::awkward wave:: Hello! ;D |

Welcome kitsun3 ! Just ask, and we will help with anything you need to get started. Since you've been a vid watcher for so long, you already know what works and what doesn't, so you are a step ahead of a lot of people, hehe.
