Welcome, KaHeSha, fellow SG-1 fan! Glad you could join us. *waves*  good to know there are some SG-1 fans around Welcome Kahesha! Hehe, you're yet another person who I didn't draw a link between two names. I had no idea you were KJ@svala as well. Hey *waves* thank you for the welcome. Well, I´ve changed the name when I moved my videos to a *vids only* livejournal in 2009. There are not this many who know about the name change. I never announced it outside of my world. So basically only those I have contact with on a (more or less) regular base knew at that time. By now others know also. Like Wolfpup, (she ran into a Jericho vid at my new vid home, there I told her who "KaHeSha" is) I don`t know if she told brighette who`s behind the new name, but since I send my vids on an almost regular base for the DPTM awards, I`m pretty sure she did. And now, everyone who`s reading this knows ;D Hey KaHeSha - me too no idea you were also KJ@Svala Now I know though! Welcome to the pub *waves* thank you for the welcome! oh my, do I need to be scared? because some still remember the old name? I never felt the need to tell anyone about the change of name, outside of my happy place that is, because all of my lj friends know. I just wanted to seperate the videos, 100%, from my personal livejournal. I never comment on anyones video as KaheSha, I always use my personal livejournal for comments. So noone can actually know who`s who. And since almost all of my old vids are offline by now, I thought "who cares" Welcome here, my friend! *waves to Kahesha* It's good to see you here! You`re one of the reasons why I`m here. I saw your name, thought if she`s around it can`t be a bad thing, and created an account, tehe. Welcome Kahesha! Have fun! Thank you for the welcome! In the wake of festivid awesomeness I decided to join and introduce myself. I'm bisclaveret on livejournal and tumblr.
I started vidding with Windows Movie Maker and moved on to Sony Movie Studio Platnium 9. I've made around six vids total including one for The Black Donnellys, one for Buffy and three festivids, one for Roswell, one for Charlie Jade and this year's one which is still a secret. Last year I got a Masters and a tumblr, which I blame about equally for my lack of vidding output. I've just about finished a vid that was supposed to be a festivid treat so I'm already one better this year.

Hi, I'm alba (alba17 on LJ/DW/AO3; buckaroo2019 on YouTube). I've been vidding for a few years, but I hardly made any the last couple of years and I really want to get back into it. I've made 18 vids. So I've been looking for places to hang out with vidders to get more inspired, and found this place. I use Final Cut Express and I still feel like I don't really know what I'm doing. I want to learn more but I don't really know how to go about it. So...my vids are pretty simple.
My current fandoms are Merlin, Hawaii Five-0 and I'm inching into XMFC. But most of my vids are for my old fandom, Torchwood.

Hi everyone! I swear, I signed up for this forum right after it was created and then life got crazy and I just never introduced myself. And so I'm horribly late to the party, and reading through the intros, so excited at all the familiar names and new folks too!
I'm Lola on DW and lolachrome on LJ, and I've been vidding since 2006/2007, which is starting to be a little while ago now! (Hmm, that doesn't even include my WMM attempts a couple years before, but I think I'd rather erase those memories. WMM was so just so hard to work with!) In 2006 I got a mac and final cut, and there was no turning back.
The majority of my vids have been Supernatural, with some Sherlock, and lately these days I seem to be falling into vidding in more and more specific, tiny fandoms (this past year its been Sufjan Stevens, How to Make it in America, Pretty Little Liars, and now Perry Mason...what is happening to me?)
I'm a mom to a 4 yo, and an academic, so finding time to vid can be challenging these days! But I've been making a concerted effort to let myself vid even during the pressure times of the semester, because when I don't I miss it a lot and just generally feel depleted and sad. I'm getting ready to buckle down for my VVC vid--very excited to go to VVC this year; my second time!
Anyway, lovely to see so many vidders making a home on this forum; I wish I had visited earlier, and am glad to be here now!

Hi!! *waves* I'm colls on LJ/DW. I've been vidding since 2009, have attended VividCon a couple of times and play with festivids every year. The fandoms I've vidded have been all over the board - I blame things like festivids and other challenges. ;D I have a lot of Stargate, Firefly and Andromeda (a vid_the_grid thing that I WILL finish one day) and have begun vidding in Supernatural. I'm a bit shocked to discover I have made over 40 vids.  |
