Hi, I'm noiproksa and I've been lurking on this forum for some time now. I'm not really multi-fannish, but rather loyal to a fandom once I invest myself in it emotionally. That has been Stargate Atlantis for quite some years, and recently, another fandom joined in: White Collar. That's also the two fandoms I've been vidding to and I have to say: I admire those of you who vid to so many different movies/TV shows because that has to be so much work, always having to go through the whole footage (which, okay, for movies maybe isn't so much, but it literally took me ages to go through 100 episodes of Stargate Atlantis!). Either way, I think some of the discussions on this forum are really interesting to follow and I've only recently started reading meta about vids, but I already find it fascinating to read other people's opinions on vidding. Welcome to the forum noiproska! I was also a one-fandom vidder for many years, but lately I've had a lot of fun diversifying. Movies are great for breaking out of single fandom vidding because they have such a small amount of source to contend with. I find them great for getting past bouts of vidders block |

Another one delurking...This place is great and you are all wonderful!!! I'm Jan and I've done vids for a number of years (can't remember what year I started oops). I have a couple of fandoms, Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary, and my new one Person of Interest (can't wait to get source for this one  ). I've learned so much just lurking here but I look forward to actually being able to discuss vidding with all of you. Thanks so much for creating the pub!! |

Hi I'm Charmax. I've been vidding almost 10 years and the last 5 of those has been spent hanging around Livejournal.
