I got this dress for Christmas! I am kind of in love.  And my sister got me a wonderful Doctor Who necklace that is hard to take a picture of because the text is so tiny, but it's the words on the door of Tardis on a scrabble tile. Love! |

Cute dress! ;D I've been annoyed because I've waited for ages for the Net-a-Porter sale, and then they didn't even discount anything I had on my wishlist.  I ended up buying one work skirt, but that's it. Disappointed! |

At last, I have something to show off! They are decidedly not Louboutins, and in fact I bought them on markdown from a department store, but they are MINE and they are adorable and I love them omg:  (The color nearer the heel is more the color they really are: the flash washed them out a bit.) |

They are the Lucky Brand "Emmie" flat in Very Red, which color I cannot find anywhere online, but I swear it exists; if you're in the US and near a Lucky store or a Marshall's or Target, you might be able to find them.
And I am very enthused about them, because I've been wanting a pair of red shoes FOREVER but it's a little too dressy a color in a heel (which I can't really walk in anyway), and these are perfect.

Oh god someone restrain me from the sales. I came this close to buying an Alexander McQueen cuff for 50%-off before sanity got the better of me. It's so tempting though, mostly because I know a friend loves McQueen and it would be a very cool surprise gift. Knowing me though, I'll probably end up wearing it myself.

When I was in London on Thursday I discovered New Look's amazing stock of coloured tights--oh my! I could only buy two, in the end, because I also purchased two pairs of jeans (one of them has suspenders--I'm Mal Reynolds! ;D ) but I feel I need to go on the NL website and try to find what other colours are there ;D |
