Okay, jeans question.
Normally I wear bootlegs because I am short and they accentuate the length of the leg with the slight flare. I have them hemmed so they are about 10mm from the ground with boots on.
While in Australia recently I bought my first ever pair of skinny jeans (since the 80's when I had black spaghettis ;D) and they're intended to be worn with sneakers (or trainers, or whatever you call them where you live). Where do I hem them to? Almost to the ground or just below the ankle or what?
As you can see, I'm a fashion tragic. Aren't I supposed to know this stuff?

Black or blue? When I picture them in my head, somehow it seems like black can go either way (ankles or longer) when you wear them with trainers (assume you mean like hi-tops, not running shoes?). Blue, somehow I can't really see just going to the ankles, feels like they need to go lower.
Ankle-length would be good if you were wearing heels, but that doesn't seem like it'd happen a lot?

If I were you I'd go long. I often see bunching in front and it doesn't necessarily seem untidy; just casual. Whereas if they were shorter I can't really see working with those shoes... just IMO. As promised, pics of my accidental new shoes! ;D

Wow, those are some gorgeous shoes! I do not own even one pair as lovely as that. I am a complete shoe heathen. Thanks for the jeans advice. I was leaning in that direction but no idea what the fashion is these days. OMG I sound old!

;D I really didn't plan on buying them, so after I accidentally won them my first thought was to keep them mint then resell at a profit. But as soon as I tried them on I was like myyyy preciiooous. *grabby hands* I really have to stop buying stuff this year though. My luxury purchases fund is officially drained.
I read an article the other day that says mums are taking their fashion cues from their teenage daughters these days. I have to admit I always ask myself whether my 16-year old sister would wear what I'm contemplating. ;D But then, she's two sizes smaller than me and taller too, so it kind of only works in theory because she looks much better in everything!

Oh God, these are gorgeous. *fans herself* I love the shape and I REALLY love the heels, they don't seem to be too high. Very classy.

They're pretty much the lowest heels you can get with CLs, haha. I don't think I can walk in anything higher than 70cm. It's exactly the same style as the nude ones, although this pair is a half size larger and I think fit me slightly better, because I have wide feet.

I saw this snakeskin and enamel bracelet online and knew it had to be mine. However, it was only available in the US because of import restrictions. I was sad until Lolachrome came to the rescue, and it just arrived today after weeks of planning and action! I named it Draco Junior.

EEEEheehee, I went crazy with shoe shopping recently. My new shoes, let me show you them! *happy dance* The close-ups are taken with flash and are more representative of the colours. #1 #2 #3 Hunter wellies! ;D

obsessive24 - omigod, those silver snakeskin heels! WANT.
I am currently in love with my relatively-new calf-length black boots. I'm such a boot snob (they HAVE to be black, they have to have a fairly low heel, they have to have silver accents of some sort), and these are just perfect. The only problem is that the heels are wearing out already!

Thanks guys! I'm such a sucker for embossed exotic skins. (And real exotic skins too, although I always worry they'd be ruined by walking outside or rain or something.)
voodoochild - the boots sound great! Sorry to hear about the heels though. Can you get them redone or new ones glued on or something at the cobblers?

Oh man, I'm driving myself crazy because I'm obsessed with this pair of shoes and this clutch. I so want to be good and stop shopping for a while, but they are haunting me! I'm trying to convince myself that it would be okay to get them if they are my last purchases for a long, long, LONG while. Wonder if that would work...
