Eunice - you saw Tennant in Hamlet?!? JEALOUS OMG. Especially since he was off for a big chunk of the run from injury, wasn't he, so it would have been a rare opportunity indeed. Jealous, Jealous.
I did see him and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing though, which was awesome. (Especially the scene where he dressed up in some sort of sparkly miniskirt and some sort of blonde wig and had on bright red lipstick, hehe.) If he's in a play while I'm in London, I'll so be there.

Nicky, I DID. Went with pipsqueak, taraljc, and absolutedestiny and it was AMAZING. And seriously lucky, because if we'd had tickets for a week later he would've been out with the back injury. We also went to Wales that trip (minus absolutedestiny) and took increasingly dorky pictures at key Torchwood/Who locations. Yeah, that's right...I do plan my international travel around fannish locations.

eunice - I'm also loving Once Upon a Time, which is funny because I totally didn't expect to. Part of me is nervous it might be like Heroes though - get off to an awesome start and then fall apart because they didn't seem to really plan for more than a season or two.

So I opened up my HD ready to start Once Upon a Time based on everyone's enthusiasm... but found myself randomly starting to watch Covert Affairs instead. Can't resist anything with Christopher Gorham and Peter Gallagher. Hope it's good. ;D Anyone else watch it?

I love Covert Affairs! Although they criminally underuse Sendhil Ramamurthy, pah. But yes, it is a light and fun diversion, like most USA shows. Not yet caught up with the new season though, didn't even realize it came back until a couple days ago. Also saw you were shipping Annie/Auggie. Look at you, going for the canon A-couple.

Also saw you were shipping Annie/Auggie. Look at you, going for the canon A-couple. I KNOW RIGHT. But their chemistry is seriously off the charts. ;D I have this interesting song that I think will work for the pacing of the visuals, although it's not in the same light tone of the show and, I dunno, it might seem as though I'm trying to make Auggie less well-adjusted than he is, or something. I think I should probably watch more before I make a call on it, but with every new scene there's the sense of "why aren't I just opening up a vid project and putting this straight on the timeline?" But the prospect of this vid is making me move on the GoT one because I have to clear out HD space, so that's good I guess.

I'll also throw my vote in for Once Upon a Time... it's really fun! I love how much they're keeping the fantasy story world in the show; I had initially thought they'd just give up on that. It's kind of fascinating also to watch them trying to juggle the family dynamics of fairy tales with those of contemporary society. The problem is that I want to ship Snow with Emma but I can't get past their actual relationship Anyone else like the cooking shows? I've been having viewing parties with some of the other people in my program for The Next Iron Chef. (Chef Faulkner for the win!)

@ valika ah, sorry, I'm insanely protective of my photos and don't really post them on the internet But watching them film was really cool, particularly since I now know that all the random barrels and boxes you see in Camelot's courtyard are really just there to hide the modern stuff like duct covers ;D

I started watching Covert Affairs now and it's all your fault I'm just a bit confuzzled because I know an Annie Walker in real life, which is a bit distracting But I'm only two episodes in and I already love Auggie. Well, I pretty much loved him the moment he showed up ;D

Hmm, I'm watching Bones, but not in a totally fannish way. Still loving How I Met Your Mother - it's my comfort TV show. Gareth adored it and we watched it together most nights while he was sick. Might try Grimm as one of my new shows - anyone watching that? It's a David Greenwalt show.
My absolute FAVOURITE show right now is Storm Chasers. I know, cheesy reality TV but I love it to bits. Shame it's only 8 eps long and has already finished for the year.

How I Met Your Mother is my favourite show though I find season 7 a little weak so far. I used to adore Bones but likewise, the recent seasons seemed pretty weak so I lost interest Same last name, different sister: Is anyone watching The New Girl with Zooey Deschanel?

I watched a couple of episodes of New Girl but didn't feel compelled to keep going. Is it more of the same or does it get better? I really liked Coach(?) in the pilot so was annoyed he left.

It has been growing on me. Originally I stayed because I like Zooey Deschanel, but the guys have been growing on me, especially Schmidt and Nick, and the new guy is kind of cool, too. By now I'm actually mostly watching for them but I'm not sure if I'd declare the show a "must-see". It's cute and makes me happy but there are certainly better tv shows out there.
Also? I keep thinking of Auggie and hoping for angst. I'm beyond help.
