Okay, I'm giving this one away because my to-do list is much too long, I don't know if I'm ever even going to manage to watch all the footage, and it really should happen: Farscape. John/Aeryn/Scorpius.

I'm so glad people are using this thread. ;D I understand the desire to hoard music, but the way I see it, the more music we all share with each other, the more music we're each more likely to find. We each give a handful few songs, and get everyone else's handful in return. Everyone wins! Here's another music, complete with random clips of everything. I hope you like electro-pop, because that's like 80% of my music.

Currently, I am listening to Florence + the Machine's latest album and trying desperately not to think of vids to go with the songs (and somewhat failing...).
As much as I love her, she has somewhat been vidded to death.

(This is a notch slower than it actually is, probably to prevent it from getting deleted?) I heard this song on the radio today (oh www.radioparadise.com , you're so good tome) and instantly fell in love with it. I want to vid it. I just don't know for which fandom ;D I wish this would have more uplifting lyrics; I'd totally use it for a Doctor Who vid, I love the beat and mood of the music.

Oh, man, now I want to vid that song. Only, the music video is already kind of perfect..... Hey feel free. It is pretty good hey. At first I was like, awesome dancing and then occasional shots of... war? Um, okay. But I watched it again and I like it a lot now. I think it's just that I didn't realise they were deliberately saying something because it didn't look like a vid. Oh how my viewing experience has been trained by vidding conventions.

How does the new album compare - is it as good as the previous one?

My earworm right now is the song I'm gonna vid next, so Imma play it close to my chest. I wonder if that's going to be a very popular response around here on a board of vidders... I'm sort of envisioning all of us clutching our precious vidsongs, not willing to share them lest someone makes an awesome vid with the song before we get around to it. ;D Ha ha. Maybe. I tend to be like that with what I'm actually working on, but I usually end up wanting to vid everything else off of the same album and knowing I'll never have time to get to all of them. Every time I go near youtube, I get another 20 ideas I don't have time for. Of course, with Festivids going on, I can't tell you some of the things I've been listening to, but here are some others I think someone should vid so I don't have to. Salsa, Merengue, etc.Olga Tañón is eminently viddable. Most of her lyrics are pretty generic love stories (or bad ex-boyfriend stories). I'm just checking out Milly Quezada, who seems interesting too. Melina León and La India are often mentioned along side Olga Tañón, but I haven't liked them as much so far, especially not La India. Melina León does have a couple of songs I think could be fun vids. Given the type of music, all of these artists tend to do multiple versions of the same song with different beats, and a lot of their songs sound similar, so it's easy to shop around for something that fits your vid idea. Gloria Estefan... like... every single thing of hers. It's all this unholy combination of Latin and 80's pop. Reggaeton, Latin rap, etc.I have a giant, shameful weakness for Flakiss. I have absolutely no fandoms for which shouting out every landmark in LA will actually work, but her songs are so fun I wish I did. Adassa represents the hilariously skanky side of Reggaeton. Sadly, some of her most amazing English versions with the extra ridiculous lyrics don't seem to be up on youtube. Ivy Queen sings more about self respect and less about doing it in club bathrooms. Calle 13 has a ton of music that would make fun vids. They tend to have more complex and often political lyrics. I just ran across this on youtube while looking for examples of these other people. Ahaha. I wish I had something to vid to it. It's Pitbull, LOLWhat can I say? I just love Pitbull. He's always in these videos with super hot people and/or super amazing musicians, and he always seems like such a dorky loser no matter how hard he pretends to be awesome. Plus he's the guest rapper in everything lately. It cracks me up.

My favourite from their new album, though to be honest I don't think it's as good as their first one.

I love a lot of Japanese pop and rock right now, I wrote a whole paper on why I prefer Japan over America so I won't go into it, too long lol. My favs are NEWS, Yamashita Tomohisa and L'Arc~en~Ciel: NEWS: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1avv34E1_-U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Yamashita Tomohisa: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/h5uMRvYhMGQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> L'Arc~en~Ciel: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2NGv2tJJEnQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I like other Asian too but Japan is top to me
As for American music, I like more punk-ish like Goo Goo Dolls, Avril Lavigne and Green Day.
Wherever the music is from, I like more upbeat over ballads

All I can say is that I am pretty much listening to the songs constantly like I did her previous album so I would say yes, it is as good as!

xitsmymindx - Unfortunately the youtube-provided embed codes don't work on here. Instead you put the youtube url into these tags, and the forum takes care of it for you.
