Just jumping on here to say that I have successfully made my first from-scratch (except for the crusts) pies. My blueberry is made of delicious and magic and my pumpkin is super-light and not too pumpkin-y.

Recovering from t-day! Son and mother are on their way out the door to the airport now, boooooo. voodoochild - oooooh. I was in charge of apple pie this year (was gonna do the pumpkin too but my feet gave out on me so it was passed along to others). I forsee a lot of pie making in my future, 'cause I didn't realize it was that easy, omg. Well, yeah...except for the pie crusts which I didn't do from scratch either. I tried to make pie crust years ago and it just did not go well. At all. |

Never tried apple, eunice, but that's awesome. I was surprised by how easy it was, too. I think it was mostly psyching myself out, thinking it was too hard or complicated.
The secret is not making crust, yes!

Pie-making is good, eating pies are better! ;D Have anyone tried to bake a Tarte Tatin? This is a kind of French apple pie and it is SO delicious.  |

Maybe I will, then! I've been meaning to do something a bit special for Christmas so maybe this is the ideal time to try it. (But I'll also buy something to hide in the freezer just in case it doesn't work out.  ) |

my day was boring lol. I sat around all day and tried to start a vid but Premiere wasn't cooperating till about 30 mins ago and I need to go to bed soon coz I have class in the morning

I am now the proud owner of two computer monitors! This will make both coding and vidding so much easier now. Also my bedroom now looks 20% cooler.

My workplace is in the process of moving (only across the street), but our Cloud system is sucking all the bandwidth, so my non-Cloud computer is down to 56K speed. It is making scanning absolutely excruciating.
