'lo,
I'm Kuwdora, but I'm fine with people calling me Abbey. I started vidding in 2007 with iMovie and Stargate Atlantis, graduated quickly to Final Cut Express and Final Cut Pro. I have skipped, hopped and jumped back and forth from fandom and pairings to more fandoms, characters and pairings. Going 4 months without vidding is a long time for me since my brain seems to depend on constantly tinkering with timelines to keep me sane.
I dream of vidding all the early 90s dance music to my favoritest shows.

I'm M'lyn, mlyn on LJ/DW. I've been in fandom since the late '90s, predominately slash for the last ten years or so. I've made 8 vids over the last seven years, two of which are collaborations (with Gwyneth Rhys & Jo/Feochadn, respectively). My vids can be found under my journal tags. I now use Final Cut Pro and would dearly love to get into AfterEffects, but it scares me a little.
Lately I've been mostly reading and commenting, but I've been known to write fic and occasionally make fanart in addition to vidding.
Glad to see so many other users here. Thanks to Nicky or other responsible parties for putting this forum together!

Hi, I'm Zippit. I've always been curious about vidding. It was this thing that was cool looking but I had no idea how to get into or any ideas for vids. That recently changed and I've now got SonyVegas, lots of links to posts on vidding, and a couple days lost to reading all the meta on metafandom. I've been lurking for a few days reading posts and the welcoming atmosphere is so lovely. I hope to get to know all of you better. |

Hi, I'm SDWolfpup! I started vidding in 2003 with the Buffy finale and have been vidding steadily since then (though my output has dropped significantly in the last few years!). I started on Adobe Premiere 6.5 and have been on Final Cut Pro for the last 5-6 years. I'm currently vidding on a Macbook Pro and in love with laptop vidding! I've vidded in lots of different fandoms, especially thanks to my 'Insane Vidding Projects.' I miss doing those, honestly, they were lots of fun and I always learned a ton. I'm in my 30s and live in Seattle, WA. I have a full-time job, two dogs, two cats, a husband, and a toddler, so my vidding time is really limited these days. I'm learning how to vid in small chunks instead of the many hour marathons I used to do. |

Hi, I'm Anoel or Ashley in RL. I started vidding when I saw my first vid back in September 2002 and have vidded on and off since then. I'm very multifandom although lately I've been very Glee heavy as I love to vid Kurt a lot. I use Adobe Premiere and avisynth and have way too many vid ideas for my procrastinating self.
I live in Los Angeles and deeply love the city. I'm 24, a college student right now and watch a lot of TV and movies.
