Question - Has anyone ever disputed the blocked in Germany issue?
As an experiment, I posted 6 of my vids to YouTube. So far all of them got pinged for 3rd party content and will have ads. One of them has gotten the note about being blocked in Germany.
I know there are ways to dispute a take down notice but, this isn't really a take down.

jackiek, I've tried it twice, ages ago, but this was not succesful. YT in Germany is a different issue, they are blocking a lot of audio staff and you cannot make anything to make them change their decision.

Yeah, the conflict between youtube, the labels and GEMA is pretty out of hand and completely outdated in Germany. The sad thing is that there isn't enough pressure to move the conflict forward, so now we are stuck in this weird respite of labels informing us, that GEMA blocks the content. GEMA being the organized representation of artists and demanding too much money for each hit. A lot of German artists aren't happy with this and neither are the labels, but like I said, there isn't enough pressure either from the press, labels or the public to move this to a workable solution.

I recently got "Your Biggest Fan" reinstated on youtube by disputing the claim with fair use. They'd blocked it due to the use of Grenade by Bruno Mars. It's been returned, but with ads of course. It did work for me though.

It did work for me though. I call that a definite win! Did you use a dispute template or go with your own wording?
