Hopeless vid ideas

I'll never make this vid because I'm not watching the show anymore and never liked Ruby in the first place, but if I were/did I'd vid Katzenjammer's "Demon Kitty Rag" for all the female demons on Supernatural, particularly Ruby.

That said, I must find other ways to vid Katzenjammer songs. Soon. ;D

Okay, I love everything mentioned herein, particularly the Merope Gaunt one, omg.

And this one might just be on the difficult side of possible, because some of the things linked under the "comic book vid recs" thread are pretty impressive, but -- sadly, there is never, ever going to be a live-action Transmetropolitan worth the name, and thereby I am never going to get the chance to vid Spider Jerusalem to "Without Me." Which is just a criminal shame.

omgggg a Transmet vid would be amazing. And if only there were a movie! Especially one starring Patrick Stewart (though, damnit, maybe he's too old now -- but he wrote the introduction to one of the trade collections and he's been my mental Spider Jerusalem ever since, even though his voice is all wrong).

Basically, we are all just going to have to learn how to vid comics. sisabet says it's not too hard...

I think if I were trying to get Transmet adapted for screen I'd be pitching it as a limited-run TV series, probably to Showtime -- it's so huge and expansive that I don't think a movie could do it justice. But either way I don't think it's going to happen, which is just unfair on a cosmic level. Alas, because it would be perfect, and I've always wanted to try vidding rap.

I sorta think at this point my 'Play Crack the Sky' video is totally impossible. No beat, a song no one else can stand, pure metaphor expect for four lines...

Also, I have this explicable urge to vid 'Stupify' to Rand al Thor. Which, ya know, is totally impossible since it's just a book. Damn vid brain!
