I keep watching the tutorials and being very relieved I'm not doing it all wrong. Thank you for making me feel better, Eunice. I tend to disable "cpu=6" except for my final export, because it requires more processing power than the default, and my computer is now 4 or 5 years old. That's probably only necessary if you find that Premiere is crashing a lot or that your imported scripts are especially slow or jerky.

As long as it works (and unless Ian tells me to do it different) I will stick with it. Cool tip about the cpu=6 thing. To be honest, I never had a clue what that did and my rule of thumb is to leave things I don't understand alone I'm gonna keep that in mind for something to try if my computer ever starts balking at my scripts.
