I like #2 the best, followed by #3. I think faces hold more fascination as a "come look at this vid" thumbnail for me over and above scenery. But that's just me.  |

I agree, #2, number 1 & 3 have too much small detail, bold works better for thumbnails. Having said that, if I like the fandom or the vidder, I click whatever the button/link/thumbnail looks like. If the fandom does not interest me I don't click no matter how sophilsticated the thumbnail is. What I'm saying is: don't overthink it, just jump on in.
