Is anyone else having weird problems with LJ today? 3/4 of the time I try to load a page it'll be completely blank, or only have a title or something, but other times it works fine. If they're making changes why not just take it down for a while. :/

Oh good, it's not just me. Half the time I get a server busy page when I try to post a comment. Tis most annoying and I hope isn't a full on ddos attack like last time.

Oh jeez, I hadn't thought of that. That seems more likely considering the errors happening. I don't get an error message, just a big blank white page.

Seems to be fine today, but I've noticed that yesterday the layout wasn't loading, and sometimes the page would just time out before *anything* loaded. So here's hoping that the issues they were having got sorted out!

It might be. I tried getting on about 10 mins ago and couldn't, and thought it was my work connection that was the problem, but maybe it's LJ after all.

I can't get it to load at all right now. So pleased I swapped to Dreamwidth. The DDOS attacks and spambots at LJ are getting ridiculous.

I have a Dreamwidth acount but I never use it. 3/4 of my flist and comms are still on LJ. I have no real reason to switch from LJ to DW...

LJ is infuriating right now. I can still get to most of the pages, sometimes by refreshing, but posting comments is nearly impossible.  I'm just too, too lazy to move to Dreamwidth. If people are gonna migrate to DW en masse, I'll follow them, but I don't know if that'll ever hit enough critical mass to get me off my ass. |

Now that I've finally made the switch, after like a year of thinking about it but being lazy, I'm glad I did. Crossposting is super easy, and I didn't copy my whole LJ across, just my vid posts (a grand total of two), so it wasn't much work when I finally got around to it. Also my layout there is prettier because purple and I am a shallow creature.

I copied my entire journal to DW, comments and the lot, paid up for an account, loaded up all my icons and even a custom mood theme. I crosspost to LJ and read my f-list there but I've had to lock down all my posts to stop the spambots. It would be easier if everyone was in the one place, though!
