Oh, this was intense. And so, so good. It had a different feel to it than many XF vids I've seen and I started watching back in the 90s! Maybe it's because I haven't watched too many recently, but this has a very fresh feel to it, like maybe you're seeing the clips a little differently now? The beginning was super creepy, and I adored the focus on the "honey bees". My favorite moment from the vid 2:12 to 2:15. The connection between the bees and Scully being taken mentally "blows my mind" is brilliant (and visually, the motion between her being placed on the ground and her looking up at the ship was lovely, a bit poignant, made me wonder about Mulder's role in it all). Great, great work. I'll be watching it again!

The first fanvids I watched were from The X Files and I was so intimidated by the quality of so many TXF vidders back then, that I didn't dare to start out vidding in this fandom. Plus even getting your hands on source clips was really hard work with a 14 k modem and no DVD drivers or DVDs. But I did download so many vids back then, needing twenty minutes for the huge 10 MB ones. So for me it is really fun to get back to The X Files and explore the canon now. It has a certain full circle feel to it for me as fan and the show holds up so well. I was positively surprised by the quality of Season 1 and as the shows go on, the cameras just gets better and better.
I totally lucked out on the song, when it started playing, I was instantly hooked. It had such an X Files vibe to it and then the lyrics came on and I couldn't believe how perfect they were for S5. How many songs have a 'honey bee' reference in it, that works so perfectly? I was seriously giddy, before I even started vidding and I had a lot of fun doing this vid. The mood shifts allowed to include such a broad spectrum of the season and the movie. I'm so happy you enjoyed the vid and had a good time watching it. Thank you for your awesome feedback.

Both of these were amazing! I love any video that can take a show I haven't thought about in years, and remind me of why I fell in love with it in the first place. I so need to go watch the series again now!

Aw, thank you and I agree, I love vids that make me nostalgic and remind me, why I had such a huge crush on a character, couple or show.
